Basics of OR gate and its application in industrial control
Move slider-1, to vary the temperature reading above or below the reference (set) value.
Move slider-2 to vary the pressure reading above or below the reference (set) value.
Observe the role of OR gate in turning ON the alarm and providing the shutdown command when either temperature or pressure or both the input signals exceed the set values with a view to protect the process environment from possible damage.
Construct the industrial control logic in simulator and verify the truth table of OR gate.
Note: Use use digital switch to draw the input button in place of the slider and Red LED to represent the output.
